Refund & Cancellation Policy

Thank you for choosing Ecometics LLC for your US corporate registration and accounting needs. We strive to provide professional services to all our clients. Because we offer customized filings and coordinate with state and federal government authorities, we have established a clear refund and cancellation policy.

1. General Refund Terms

Our corporate registration, tax filing, and intellectual property services are highly customized. Once an order is paid, work begins immediately on drafting documents, verifying brand names, or scheduling registered agent services. Refund eligibility is determined by the stage of processing of your request:

• Prior to processing: If you request cancellation before we draft any registration documents or submit filings, you are eligible for a 100% refund of both our service fees and state/federal filing fees.
• During drafting (before submission): If you request cancellation after document drafting has commenced but before documents are formally submitted to state or federal registries (such as the IRS or Secretary of State), you are eligible for a refund of the government filing fees and 50% of our service fees.
• After submission: Once documents have been submitted to government registries (e.g. Secretary of State, IRS, USPTO), all fees (including government filing fees and Ecometics LLC service fees) are completely non-refundable. The service is considered rendered since the government has accepted the application for processing.

2. Excluded Government & State Fees

Please note that government, state, and registry fees (such as state charter fees, franchise taxes, USPTO class fees) are paid directly to government agencies. These agencies never refund filing fees once documents are filed. Consequently, Ecometics LLC cannot refund these fees under any circumstances once filing has occurred.

3. Special Case: Trademark Rejections

Trademark applications filed through the USPTO are subject to review by government examining attorneys. Ecometics LLC conducts descriptive searches prior to filing to reduce conflict risks. However, if the USPTO issues an Office Action or rejects a trademark registration due to descriptive conflicts, our filing service is still considered rendered. No refunds will be issued for USPTO decisions, but we will consult with you on potential amendments or appeals.

4. Recurring Services Cancellation (Bookkeeping & CPA)

For recurring monthly services, such as CPA bookkeeping and tax maintenance:

• You may cancel your monthly subscription at any time by notifying us at least 5 business days prior to your next billing date.
• Cancellations will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. No partial refunds will be provided for mid-month cancellations.
• Upon cancellation, Ecometics LLC will transfer all accounting ledgers, QuickBooks records, and IRS logs to your possession.

5. How to Request a Refund or Cancellation

To cancel an active service or request a refund, please send a written request to info@ecometics.llc containing:

1. Your full name and company name;
2. Your transaction details (date, amount, order description);
3. Reason for cancellation or refund request.

Once approved, refunds will be processed back to the original payment method (Stripe, Revolut, bank card) within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your card issuer's policies.
